Speciation process if subjected to the punctuated equilibrium , then jump mediated radical expolosion at species level could have been occurred . If that so, then what kinds of roles were played by neutral mutations (those mutations getting integrated in the genomes of organisms and through gametes spread through a whole population and thereafter stabilized) in the driving process of adaptation and how the steady equilibrium condition between mutation and natural selection was established for a defined cladogenesis process which gave rise to different taxa positioned as separate clades in recent or remote geological paast? How the Tinkering hypothesis could analyze the data derived from a calibrated molecular clock and could differentiate those data from the data obtained from fossil / missing data constraints? Kind reply in my mail id is awaited.
